Forever altered, the pieces re-arranged
How is it so simple? So easy, so wrong?
To fall in love like the stories and in song
Yet as easy as it may seem and so quickly for all
It takes but over night to realize our fall
We fall with out grace from the highest of high
For love knows no bounds, no limits to go by
So we climb and climb, starving for attention
We ignore all precautions in our intimate ascension
And then... we fall...... as a stone into a lake
Pounding, Echoing ripples we leave in our wake
Beyond the boundaries of our minds we run
For it is not their fault, it is done
We are blind, as the infant to it's life
It can't be us, it is them holding the knife
But we all play our part and we all know the truth
If only we all could admit, early, in our youth
The world would be a far better place
Full of love, happiness and full of grace.
