From the simplest things in life most take as a given
To the most complicated struggles, all sins are forgiven
it's the experiences of our age that makes us strong
Our love, our life, our deeds right and wrong
Whether you believe in a God, deity or higher power
It boils down to your own decisions, each and every hour
What we claim to believe means nothing if we choose based on greed
It is this very act from which we learn & warnings we should heed
If you choose based on beauty then happy you shall never be
For the person underneath is the part you'll never see
Age, appearance, money or things, love can not come from rings
Life is like a large, colorful, complex piece of art
you must listen & learn to find the key to someone's heart
You cannot take a pill and make everything well
You cannot waive your hands and cast on your spell
Each and everyone one of us has a duty to the next
To listen, learn & teach our knowledge or pass it on in text
