About Me

My photo
I have have written various different styles of poems over the years just as a means of relaxation or and outlet of sorts. Most of these Poems have been thrown away, deleted or simply written and sent off into cyberspace never to be seen again. After a lot of consideration and some encouragement by those close to me, I am now cataloging all my latest Poems on this blog. I am also moving the Poems to http://thedreamerthewarrior.com and http://dreamerloverwarrior.blogspot.com My goal here is to begin to capture my work for others to enjoy and perhaps for me to compile into a book some day.. For now, I hope you enjoy the Poems as they come, feel free to 0ntact me anytime if you have any questions or would like to link to my site. Please respect all copy write privileges. Any and all comments are welcome and greatly appreciated. It's great to see what others feel when they read the Poems and how they may interpret them. Enjoy!

FOREVER LOST

Life...so short, yet most will complain
About stormy sky's or warm champagne
We live as we are told and taught to ask not
The true meaning of life has long been forgot
Long, long ago we were immortal and free
Until we broke all the rules and ate from the tree
No man shall live longer than X and one day
You shall burn in Hell for living this way
Not a single act can earn us our place
Where we once stood with him face to face
So suffer the earth and work the ground
Eternal suffering and pain we have found
Keeping the faith becomes so very tough
As we bury family and friends, it's rough...
We can pray and still lose, its just not meant to be
Or we get what we ask for, it's a miracle, you'll see
We tell ourselves everything will be just fine
Until we lose another life, maybe our own next time?
For some live life so happy and free
Of the pain and stress of the knowledge tree
Others, who are sick for many many years
Spending their lives in pain and tears
Can pray and pray but the words go unheard
We begin to question if he hears one word
But some how, some way we keep chugging ahead
For deep in our hearts we hear what is said
And although life can be brutal and sick
Keeping the faith should still do the trick
You must cling to belief what ever the cost
Or fear for your soul forever lost
It matters not what religion or faith
What's saves the soul is what keeps you safe
