About Me

My photo
I have have written various different styles of poems over the years just as a means of relaxation or and outlet of sorts. Most of these Poems have been thrown away, deleted or simply written and sent off into cyberspace never to be seen again. After a lot of consideration and some encouragement by those close to me, I am now cataloging all my latest Poems on this blog. I am also moving the Poems to http://thedreamerthewarrior.com and http://dreamerloverwarrior.blogspot.com My goal here is to begin to capture my work for others to enjoy and perhaps for me to compile into a book some day.. For now, I hope you enjoy the Poems as they come, feel free to 0ntact me anytime if you have any questions or would like to link to my site. Please respect all copy write privileges. Any and all comments are welcome and greatly appreciated. It's great to see what others feel when they read the Poems and how they may interpret them. Enjoy!

DRAGON: Part 2 - Rage

Slowly as the dragon grows used to the makeshift reins
tugging and pulling the leathers around, easing her obvious pains
I pet her behind the ear and tell her she is Beaten
I prey to god she hears me for I don't wish to be eaten
Swooping down apon her prey, I thought it cattle in a field
yet as we flew in closer I saw the weapons they do wield
These creatures were no cattle but men apon thier thier steeds
armed to the teeth with weapons and wagons for thier needs
They seek the dragons lair and revenge for victims taken
All I see is the dragons feast these men thier god forsaken
Around the bend the dragon flew and deep within her belly
Blackened green, ranking gas, fluid dripped like jelly
Rumbling out from deep within, the source of the dragon flames
Spewed forth amongst these men now screaming, have been maimed
She does not spray to kill so as to not destroy the treat
She likes to taste thier blood and the flavor of thier meat
Sickened by the stench of dragon spew and bloody feast
I contemplate my only way to land this giant beast
Once the group of avengors had been maimed and slowed thier pace
With wings wide spread we flew in low with true amazing grace
Raring back her head and wings exposing her giant claws
She ripped thier limbs piece by piece and tossed them in her Maw
Gripped by fear once again and wishing I were gone
I wonder how I got here playing to role of a dragons pawn
Pulling back on the reins as I prey she listens well
She slows her gate and stops but for me I cannot tell
As she swallowed what was left of the latest victims leg
I notice that the warriors had been carrying the dragons egg!
Now I see the reason for the mother dragons rage
There sit her little baby egg in a dragons cage
