MY OATH

Follow me and listen well

And trust to solemn oath & tell

A fortune made and often lost

For those bound to hell and cost

That fortune made to sell the soul

A solemn oath can make you whole.

Take my words for honest true

To feel my pain and taken through

The eyes of one or two or three

I feel the heart it sings to me.

Our days on earth shall paint my trail

To sell my book and tell my tale

Take Gods will and even so

I struggle to in life to go

To where he says I am to be

Forgiven now for all to see

I make my oath and take it still

For every day shall test my will.

Give me time and strength of ten

I drop my sword to use my pen

To share my words & steal your heart

Writing comes through given art

I do know what make me be

For time and love and life shall see.

SIMPLE WALK

Shall we go for a simple walk?

To learn of our ways in idle talk

To speak and gaze into your eyes

I speak you the truth and tell no lies

I feel the warmth of body lies

Our turns in life have joined our ways

To share our thoughts and simple talk

Won't you join me for a simple walk?

THE WALK

Walking through the warming sands

I lead my lady by her hands

To speak, whisper and tally so

For her to see and us to know

we lay our bodies here and there

Streaks of red on golden hair

To sit and watch the daylight fall

A day of days and night for all

To see us sneak in shallow waves

We take the night for us to save

Slowly we shuffle in shallow sands

Observing each other and holding hands

Speaking of neither fact nor goal

Unwavering gaze my heart she stole

Tell me you care enough to see

I cannot share my lust for thee

Twinkle stars and glittering sand

Walk with me and hold my hand.

WORDS FAIL

When words fail, music speaks

Chords so bold the heavens weep

Taken from her realm so grand

Stricken down by sorrows hand

Give us strength to cast our fears

And see the truth of our blood & tears

TAKEN

Take my broken body & soul

I prey the lord to make me whole

Taken deep within my pain

Darkness falls and blackened rain

Hear me call and beg to plea

Take my soul and set me free

GIVE or TAKE

To give or to take

Our lovers shall make

For partners young

And partners old

A fresh clean start

To be so bold

To give the gift of choice so young

Shooting stars are given all
